One of the great things about college sports is that it gives students a chance to help pay for their education by doing something they love. The NAIA has partnered with the American Red Cross and State Farm Insurance to help NAIA student-athletes gain valuable leadership experience while providing them with a $2,000 scholarship and the trip of a lifetime to our nation’s capital. Freshmen or sophomores in good academic standing at an NAIA school have until November 15, 2010, to apply for this year’s Red Cross/NAIA Collegiate Leadership program. More information, including how to apply, can be found on the NAIA Champions of Character web site. Here are some pictures highlighting the program!
